My name is Lo Phong La Kiatoukaysy. On trail I’m known as Lil’ Buddha. I’m a Hmong American adventurer, speaker, and outdoor advocate. I’m best known for my 2010 calendar year Eastern Continental Trail that included Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, a route of 6,000 plus miles which is considered a long-distance hiking first.
Since 1995 I’ve been thru-hiking North America's longest trails; including the Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail and Appalachian Trail (as part of the Eastern Continental Trail).
In 2023 I’ll be re-hiking the Eastern Continental Trail starting from Key West, Florida to Belle Isle, Newfoundland for a third time.
